We have no set visiting hours at our hospice houses in St. Lucie and Martin counties. In some cases, however, visitors may be restricted for some patients for reasons relating to their care.
Doors are open at the hospice houses every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Each of the hospice houses has a doorbell at the entrance that you can ring to request after-hours entry to visit a patient.
You may call to check on whether particular patients may be visited. However, bear in mind that privacy regulations prohibit us from divulging patient information.
Also be aware that most of our patients receive care in their homes and many are in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living residences. So if you hear that a friend or loved one is being cared for by Treasure Coast Hospice, that does not necessarily mean that they have been admitted to a hospice house.
