Volunteer training, to June and July 2013
Here is the current training schedule for volunteers at Treasure Coast Hospice. All volunteers are required to complete the new-volunteer orientation session. In order to attend that session you must first apply for and be accepted as a Treasure Coast Hospice volunteer. 9 a.m.
to 11 a.m.
Veterans: Veteran volunteers needed for patients who are vets. Includes pinning.
June 20
9 a.m.
to 4 p.m.
New Volunteer Orientation: Basic training required for all volunteers.
July 10
9 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m.
New Volunteer Orientation: Basic training required for all volunteers.
July 18
3 p.m.
to 6 p.m.
Spiritual Care: Training in meeting spiritual needs in a hospice setting.
June 6
1 p.m.
to 3 p.m.

Eleventh Hour: To ensure that none of our patients will need to die alone.
June 19

Alzheimer's Care Training: Volunteering for visiting patients with Alzheimer's.
