Treasure Coast Hospice: We're more than you think
Treasure Coast Hospice is more than you think. We surround our patients and their families with support: physical, emotional and spiritual. With 30 years of experience as your local community hospice, we are the specialists in end-of-life and comfort care in Martin and St. Lucie counties.
The sooner we are contacted after a life-limiting diagnosis, the more our care teams of physicians, nurses, hospice aides, counselors, chaplains and volunteers can help the whole family treasure the life they have. The presence alone of our teams brings great relief to caregivers, and we can provide additional respite when the caregiver is temporarily overwhelmed.
Most of our hospice patients receive our care in their own homes, surrounded by their families. We provide the necessary equipment, supplies and medications to relieve pain and provide comfort while keeping the patient as alert as possible. We also provide our services in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living residences, hospitals and our own hospice houses in Stuart and Fort Pierce.
Our bereavement counselors are available to everyone in the community on a donation bases, and we assist schools, businesses and other organizations when an unexpected loss occurs. Our well-regarded Camp Good Grief is designed to help children and teens express grief in a healing atmosphere.
Our hospice services are fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most health insurance policies. In addition, Treasure Coast Hospice is a not-for-profit agency. Thanks to our generous community support, no one is denied services because of inability to pay.
